January 18 – February 29 Attention, attention! Read all about it - Action research and advancing English Language Arts! Join us for several weeks of a collegial conversation focused on English Language Arts and how to use inquiry to advance students’ learning. All educators are welcome - elementary, secondary, college level, and teacher educators. We will provide a suggested schedule for responding to the chapters in the book, because some people find that helpful. For others, it’s more appealing to read at their own pace and respond to points that stand out along the way. Either way is fine; this is meant to be an informal, collegial conversation. For the same reasons, we will include some suggestions for ideas to respond to, but any and all responses are welcome, whether they are specifically to the book, to connections from you own experience, or responses to another commenter. Please feel free to share your own thinking, use the general prompts, or reply to the specific prompts for each chapter. We look forward to hearing your thinking! ~ Janice and Meg
