Action Research at Work in the Literacy Classroom: Reflection, Collaboration, and Publication
|
Featuring Janice Ewing and Mary Buckelew
This interactive workshop is geared for teachers, coaches, supervisors, and teacher educators who are interested in how an inquiry approach can enhance literacy learning for students and teachers alike. The presenters will engage the participants in an exploration of the principles and practices of action research and the connection to the literacy classroom. They will highlight the role of reflection and collaboration and share a variety of ways for teachers to share or publish their findings with interested colleagues. Participants will leave with ideas for their own action research projects.
If you would like to start the conversation sooner, please join us for an online discussion of Mary and Janice’s book Action Research for English Language Arts Teachers: Invitation to Inquiry at http://www.literacydelval.org/winter-book-club |
